South Australia will play host to a series of Digital Springboard courses in September and October

South Australia is the most digitally excluded state in the country according to the recently released Australian Digital Inclusion Index. So there’s no better time to be rolling out a series of free digital skills courses to local communities in SA.

Over the next few weeks SA will play host to 12 Digital Springboard courses delivered free to the public at local libraries and community centres.

We’re grateful to Public Library Services South Australia for their support in making courses available in City of Marion, City of Onkaparinga, Barossa Council Public Library, City of Playford, Campbelltown Library and City of Prospect, and to Light Regional Public Library for making courses available at Kapunda Library and Freeling Library.

We’ll also be running an additional full day of training for Digital Springboard delivery partners at the State Library of South Australia to provide partners with the skills they need to confidently deliver Digital Springboard courses in their communities. Topics we’ll be covering are: Getting started with Digital Springboard, Start your own business – parts 1, 2 and 3, Get started with code, and Answering questions with data.

Digital Springboard courses are free for anyone to attend and are taught face-to-face by trusted organisations such as community centres, libraries and not-for-profit organisations.
